What does an Ohio SR22 Bond Cover? There is a lot of confusion about this. Let me help clarify.... There is NO SUCH THING AS AN "SR22 BOND". An SR22 FILING IS NOT Insurance. An SR22 is a state filing requirement that gets attached to either an auto insurance policy or a financial responsibility bond.
So ..... If an SR22 is not actually insurance. What is it then? An SR22 is a state filing that requires the insurance company to notify the Ohio BMV if the policy ever cancels / lapses. So when an a policy with an SR22 cancels, your drivers license will be suspended until you either reinstate the policy, or start a new policy that has the SR22 attached to it. Should I attach the SR22 to regular auto insurance or a financial responsibility bond?
Where can I find cheap SR22 Bonds In Ohio? The key to getting cheap SR22 Bonds in Ohio is a matter of getting quotes with the right companies. Many auto insurance companies aren't friendly with SR22 drivers, and charge outrageous premiums. However, there are several companies in Ohio that offer great rates for SR22 bonds. When you get a quote with my agency, I have 6 companies that go easy on SR22's. You fill out one simple quote form, and I will personally run your quote and find the company with the best rates. How Much Does Insurance on Collectibles Cost? Even for the best coverage on collectibles, the yearly premium on most collectibles are less than 1% of the value being insured. The best company I have found as far as insuring collectibles is American Collectors Insurance (ACI). ACI offers coverages not available with collectibles insured under homeowners policies. For the best coverages with ACI, the premium for most collectibles is right around 0.75% of the value. As examples, if I own a baseball card collection that is worth 10 thousand dollars, the premium to insure the collection would be around $75 per year. If I own a china set that is worth 100 thousand dollars, the premium to insure the collection would be around $750 per year. Putting collectibles as scheduled property on a homeowners policy is lousy coverage!

There are a few companies that go much easier on those who have a DUI on their record, and also those who need an SR22 filing. While those companies that go easy are scarce, they are out there. Having a DUI on your record does get very costly, as far as insurance premiums (there's no getting around that). But there are auto insurance companies out there who focus after the "high risk" market, and thus offer the lowest premium given the circumstances. The problem is that of all the companies that go easy on DUI's, multiple accidents, multiple tickets, needing an SR22 bond, yada yada yada...... Those companies all have different tastes, as far as who gets a low rate and who gets a high rate. Thus the best way to get the lowest car insurance rate with a DUI, SR22, or any thing else that seriously hurts your driving record..... The best thing to do is shop around. The more companies that you get auto insurance quotes from, the more likely you are of finding the best rate. In Ohio, my agency has up to 6 companies that go easy on DUI's and other major violations. Depending on your situation, one company will usually be cheaper than the others. All you need to do is fill out one of the quote forms below. I will do the grunt work for you, and find you the company with the best rates. Homeowners policies vary greatly from one company to another, so there's no definite answer... But generally, purchasing stand alone snowmobile insurance provides much better coverage as opposed to attaching it to a homeowners policy. There are several factors to consider: Problems with snowmobiles being insured under a homeowners policy:
Benefits of having snowmobile insurance on it's own policy that you will unlikely see as a homeowners attachment:

If you are a business owner who has employees, then you need to strongly consider Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI). EPLI covers you in case an employee files suit against you for various reasons. Those reasons include, but are not limited to:
Stand alone EPLI coverage vs. attached EPLI coverage When you compare the coverages between a stand alone EPLI policy and EPLI endorsement coverage attached to a Business Owners Policy, there is no comparison! Stand alone EPLI coverage offers more coverage at much higher limits: Attached EPLI policies usually max out around $25,000, while stand alone EPLI coverage offers much higher limits (usually 2 Million). Stand alone EPLI coverage offers "defense outside of limits", which means that legal fees don't count against the level of liability you have chosen. This option is optional for stand alone coverage, but usually not offered at all for attached coverage. Third Party Coverage is usually only available with stand alone coverage. In many cases, lawsuits result from a third party in which the owner of the business has no association with. Stand alone EPLI policies generally provide much broader coverage as far as what is covered and what is not. If you have any questions about stand alone EPLI policies, feel free to give me a call at 740-574-2618, and I will be happy to answer any of your questions.
