Transcription: Slide 1: Hello I'm Dan Lyles with Lyles Insurance. In this video, we're going to go over the features of Progressive Boat Insurance. Slide 2: There are two major reasons why Progressive ranks near the top of boat insurance sales. Number one: Low rates. Their prices are already low to begin with. Plus they offer many opportunities for discounts, which I'm going to get into here shortly. And also, specialized coverage offers. Progressive offers extra coverage options that are not offered by most other boat insurance companies. Slide 3: Progressive has a wide range of different types of boats they will insure. This isn’t an all-inclusive list, but it’s some of the more common: cuddy boats, runabouts, bass boats, ski boats, pontoon boats, yachts, jet skis, personal watercraft and sailboats. Slide 4: As far as coverage offers, Progressive has the same basic coverages that any good boat insurance policy should offer. Those include liability coverage, uninsured motorist coverage, medical payments coverage, and comprehensive and collision coverage. But it's the secondary optional coverages that sets Progressive apart from other boat insurance companies. So let's get into those. Slide 5: You want to take a good look at these specialty coverages because if you decide to choose any of them, you're going to be surprised to see that the cost is very little extra for what coverage you get offered. The newest addition is hurricane haul-out coverage. That's something they've only come up with recently. It reimburses you for 50% of the cost to haul out your boat due to severe weather. Accessory coverage: accessory coverage, that's anything attached to your boat. That coverage is actually free up to $3000 worth of coverage if you have comprehensive and collision coverage. And you have the option to buy more if you need. And Sign-N-Glide coverage: help comes to you if you are stranded on the water and you need gas, a jump start, or a tow. Slide 6: Propulsion plus coverage: that provides coverage for the lower units of outboard motors, and the upper and lower units the inboard outboard motors, in the event of a mechanical breakdown. And finally, trailer coverage and roadside assistance coverage. Both of them are offered at a very low price for the coverage offered. Slide 7: Finally, I want to go over Progressive boat insurance discounts. These can save you quite a bit of money. For example, if you own your home, have prior boat insurance coverage, or pay for your policy in full, you're going to get a big savings on any or all of those three. If you own more than one boat or watercraft, they also give you a multi-vehicle discount. And if you already have a policy with Progressive, they give you a multi-policy discount. Advance quote discount applies if you get a quote and buy a policy now, but the effective date doesn't start until a date in the future. Safety course discount: if you've recently taken a boat safety course, make sure you ask about the discount Progressive offers. And finally, original owner. If you bought your boat new, you get a discount. Slide 8: For those of you who live in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia or West Virginia: If you would like for me to personally run you a Progressive boat insurance quote, I will be happy to do so. I provided a link to my website quote page. I will also include that in Youtube under the description. And if you're watching this from my blog, I will have it posted right under the video. Or if you'd rather just get a quote by phone, I've also posted my phone number, and I'll be happy to help you over the phone as well. Thank you for watching. And have a great day!

Transcription: Slide 1: Hello I'm Dan Lyles with Lyles Insurance. In this video, we're going to cover FR44 Named Operator auto insurance policies. Slide 2: First let me explain what an FR44 filing is, and also what it does. Contrary to popular belief, an FR44 is not auto insurance. It's just a state filing that attaches onto an auto insurance policy. An FR44 is for drivers that have their license suspended and they're trying to get her license back. Getting this FR44 filing is usually the last step they have to take before their license is valid again. Slide 3: An FR44 is the DMV's way to keep dibs on you. They want to monitor whether or not you're carrying active coverage during the time you're required to have this FR44. And you're required to have double the state minimum in liability coverage. So in Virginia, that's 50/100/40 that you'll have to carry. The best way to think of how it works is what I call a tattletale. If you ever cancel, lapse or expire on a policy that has an FR44, the auto insurance company is required by law to tattle on you. Once this happens, they'll suspend your license again until you have another active FR44. And one thing Virginia is strict about, you'll probably also get hit with another reinstatement fee. Slide 4: Okay so now we need to go over the basics of a Named Operator policy. It's also known as a non-owner policy. And it's made for drivers who need auto insurance liability coverage, but they can't buy regular auto insurance because they don't have a vehicle to insure. This is where a named operator policy comes in. This is who this is designed for. And an FR44 can attach onto a named operator policy just as easy as it does a regular auto insurance policy. Slide 5: Coverage on a named operator policy is very limited compared to regular auto insurance, which is why it costs much less. Coverage is only on a secondary basis. In the event of an accident, regular auto insurance that the vehicle owner has is always the primary coverage. And there is no coverage whatsoever when driving a vehicle that you own or a vehicle owned by someone in your household. So make sure you're aware of that. A lot of people have been burned by it. And finally, only liability, uninsured motorist and medical payments coverage is offered on these policies. They do not offer comprehensive and collision coverage, which is the actual physical damage coverage on your vehicle. You won't have that with a named operator policy. Slide 6: Here's a common scenario that comes up: Let's say you already have a named operator policy and then buy a vehicle later on. How does that work? Well, you know you now need to switch to a regular auto insurance policy to have coverage on your vehicle. The good news about a named operator policy is it can easily convert to a regular auto insurance policy just like that. All it takes is a few minutes and a phone call your agent, and it'll be done. But make sure you do this before you start driving your vehicle. Slide 7: So I hope this Video has given you a better understanding of how an FR44 named operator policy works. If you would like me to personally run you a quote, I'll be happy to do so. I've included a link: if you're watching this from my blog, I'll have it posted right under the video. If you're watching this on YouTube, I will put it in the description. Or, if you want to just give me a phone call, I've also listed my phone number. Give me a call and I'll be happy to run you a quote over the phone. Thank you for watching and have a great day! Transcription Slide 1: Hello! I'm Dan Lyles with Lyles Insurance. In this video, we're going to discuss Progressive Motorcycle Insurance, and what sets Progressive apart from other motorcycle insurance companies. Slide 2: Progressive is number one in motorcycle insurance sales. Roughly one in every three motorcycle insurance policies is insured with progressive. Two major reasons for that. Number one is low rates. They have low prices to begin with. Plus with the opportunity for discounts, they get even lower. And the second is specialized coverage offers. Progressive offers extra coverage options not offered by other companies. Slide 3: Progressive has a broad acceptance in the types of bikes they will insure. That includes cruisers, tourings, sport or performance bikes, trikes, dirt bikes, mopeds, ATVs and UTVs, custom bikes as long as they're not souped up or modified, and also classic or antique bikes. Slide 4: Just like all motorcycle insurance policies, Progressive also offers all your basic coverages: which is liability, uninsured motorist, medical payments, comprehensive and collision coverages. But what sets them apart again are the secondary optional coverages that are not found on many motorcycle insurance policies. Let's get into those. Slide 5: As far as specialty coverages, if you have comprehensive and collision coverage on at least one of your bikes, you get free accessory coverage up to $3000 worth. And the ability to purchase more if you need. Same goes for safety riding apparel coverage. You get free coverage up to $500 with the option to purchase more. Safety riding apparel are things like helmet, eyewear, jacket, things like that. And also, they offer enhanced injury protection in case of income loss or a death benefit from a covered accident. Slide 6: Other specialty coverages include carried contents coverage, which covers items you take on your bike such as hunting, camping or other equipment that’s associated with touring. And most bikes get hauled via trailer. Progressive offers very low prices for trailer coverage. So if you haul your bike, you definitely want to check out the price for trailer coverage. It’s very inexpensive. And also, it's worth taking a look at for roadside assistance and trip interruption coverage. Both offer very low price for the coverage offered. Slide 7: Now I want to go over some of Progressive’s discounts that I mentioned earlier. You get a nice discount if you're a homeowner. You get a nice discount if you have prior coverage with another motorcycle insurance policy. You get a nice discount if you can pay your policy in full upfront for the whole year. Other discounts include multi-vehicle, for those of you who have more than one bike to insure. Multi-policy discount, if you have another valid active policy with Progressive. Your bike can also earn discounts if they have anti-lock brakes or a LoJack installed. And drivers can earn a discount if they have a valid motorcycle license or an endorsement on their drivers license. And finally, advance quote. If you get a quote for a policy that's going to start in the near future, for each day you get a little bit bigger of a discount. Slide 8: So I hope you've enjoyed watching this video, and now you have a better understanding of why Progressive is the number one motorcycle insurer. If you'd like for me to personally run you a quote, if you live in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia or West Virginia, I will be happy to run a quote for you. I've posted a link to my website where you can get a quote. And if you'd rather just give me a call and quote over the phone, I've also posted my phone number. Call me for a Quote Transcription: Slide 1: Hello I'm Dan Lyles with Lyles Insurance. And in this video, we're going to go over Indiana SR22 insurance. We're going to cover what is an SR22 filing, what an SR22 filing does, the type of insurance policy you need, and also help you find the best rate. Slide 2: First, let's cover the basics of what an SR22 filing is. Contrary to popular believe an SR22 is not auto insurance. It's just a state filing that attaches onto an auto insurance policy. What it does, it keeps dibs on you. It's a guarantee to the Indiana BMV that you're carrying at least state minimum liability auto insurance at all times. And when you buy a policy with an attached SR22, that’s usually the last step you have to take before you get your license reinstated. Slide 3: Here's how an SR22 filing works. When you buy an auto insurance policy with an SR22 attached, the company will notify the Indiana BMV electronically that you have taken out an auto insurance policy that contains at least state minimum liability coverage. And likewise, they also have to notify the BMV if you ever lapse, cancel or expire on a policy. So it's very important that you keep this active during the period of time that you're required to carry an SR22. Slide 4: The easiest way to understand how an SR22 filing works is to think of it as a “tattletale”. In other words, if you ever cancel or lapse on a policy that has an SR22 attached, the auto insurance company is required by law to tattle on you to the state BMV. And once that happens, your license will be suspended again until you either reinstate your old policy, or start a new one with another SR22 attached. Slide 5: It's very important that you set up an SR22 properly. And to do so is very easy: If you own a vehicle, you just need to attach your SR22 onto a regular auto insurance policy. If you don't own a vehicle, you need to buy what's called a Named Operators auto insurance policy. Either one of those policies, an SR22 can attach onto. But the frustrating part, as you see at the bottom, not all companies will write SR22's and not all companies will sell named operator policies either. So it gets a little frustrating. But I'm going to help you with that here in just a minute. Slide 6: I quickly want to cover SR50 filings because this will apply to some of you. Instead of being required to carry an SR22, some of you may be required to carry an SR50. An SR50 is unique. It was only for Indiana drivers. However, they did away with that several years ago. It's been replaced now by the SR22. But drivers who were charged before the law changed still get grandfathered into the old SR50 requirement. Just understand that if you need an SR50, an SR22 will work fine instead. Most companies won't even write SR50s anymore. So you just about have to take the SR22 instead of the SR50. But don't worry about it. It will substitute just fine. Slide 7: Now as far as finding the lowest rate, I know it can be frustrating. What I would suggest you do is find an independent agent that specializes in high-risk auto insurance. The companies that these agents carry tend to go easy on SR22's and drivers who have dings on their driving record. And the best thing is, you can get multiple quotes at once instead of quoting one company at a time. And if you would like for me to personally run you a quote, I'll be happy to do so. I will include links at the bottom of this page. If you're watching this video from my blog, I will include it in the transcription area. Or if you're watching it on YouTube, I'll put it in the site description area. You can click on those links and easily get a quote. And I've also posted my phone number if you'd rather just give me a call. So I hope you've learned what you need to know about SR22's. Thank you for watching and have a great day!
